Safiora VPN

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 June 2026

Safiora VPN ("we", "us", "the app") is built around privacy. This policy explains what the app collects, what it deliberately does not collect, and how your information is handled. You can use Safiora VPN without creating an account and without giving us your name or email.

Our no-logs commitment.

We do not monitor, record, or store the websites you visit, the apps you use, your DNS queries, or the contents of your network traffic while connected to the VPN. We do not keep activity logs that could tie your browsing to you.

Information we collect

  • Anonymous identifier. On first launch the app signs you in anonymously through Google Firebase Authentication. This creates a random anonymous ID. It is not linked to your name, email, or phone number.
  • Subscription status. If you purchase Premium, we store your entitlement status (active / inactive and plan type) against your anonymous ID in Google Firebase (Firestore) so your subscription works across sessions. We never receive or store your payment card details — purchases are handled entirely by Google Play.
  • Advertising identifier. For free users, ads are provided by Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising ID to serve, cap, and measure ads and to prevent fraud. The app requests non-personalized ads.
  • On-device data. Your selected server, VPN configuration, and anonymous ID are stored locally on your device. This data stays on the device and is removed when you uninstall the app.

Information we do not collect

  • Your name, email address, or phone number.
  • Your browsing history, traffic content, or DNS requests.
  • GPS or precise location.
  • Bandwidth or activity logs tied to your identity.

How we use information

To provide the VPN connection, keep you signed in anonymously, remember your Premium status, deliver and measure ads that keep the free tier running, and operate and improve the app. We do not sell your personal data.

VPN connection

When connected, your traffic is encrypted (WireGuard, ChaCha20) and routed through a VPN server so that websites and networks see the server's IP address rather than your own. We operate the service on a no-logs basis as described above. Encrypted DNS and traffic pass through the tunnel and are not recorded by the app.

Sharing & third parties

We do not sell your personal data. Your data is processed by the following services, each under its own privacy policy:

Google FirebaseAnonymous authentication & subscription-status storage
Google AdMobAdvertising & measurement (free users only)
Google Play BillingProcessing subscription purchases

Ads

Free users see ads via Google AdMob. Premium subscribers use the app ad-free. You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device's system settings (Settings → Google → Ads).

Data retention

Your subscription status is retained while your anonymous ID exists so Premium continues to work. On-device data is kept until you uninstall the app or clear its storage. You may request deletion of your stored entitlement record using the contact below.

Security

Connections use industry-standard WireGuard encryption (ChaCha20). Data handled by Firebase and Google Play is protected by Google's infrastructure and encryption in transit.

Children

Safiora VPN is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Because the app does not collect identifying personal information, most data is anonymous or stored only on your device. You may reset your advertising ID, uninstall the app to remove local data, or contact us to request deletion of your stored entitlement record.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
